Camera underslung – Tango Beam for Tango roller by Prosup

Sliding from Underslung to Upright

CaSu Prosup’s Tango Beam was built to underslung their Tango slider onto standard lighting stands. Once opened the for-transport-foldable Tango Beam can accept the full track length of the Tango Peli Case Kit (2,20m / 7ft.). The Tango Roller with its self- securing roller coaster way of operating can now be used upside down in an underslung mode. If you like to use your camera now in the “normal” position, Prosup provides you with the Undersling – a bracket mounted on your upside down fluid head’s camera plate.

So far so good …and done within minutes.

Now, Tango-using cameramen came up with the idea to make 2 more threads for the 28mm spigots / junior studs on the other side of the Beam’s ends. Thus, in order to change from underslung into upright mode again, you just lift the Beam assembly and relocate the studs. Due to the strong Beam underneath there is no need anymore to support the joints between the 2 tracks and the whole unit can sit on 2 Muraro Slider Supports. If you finally equip those with wheel sets, the whole slider assembly can be rolled in and out a set as needed.
